  6. Dejar reposar la masa media hora
  7. Estiramos la masa en una superficie plana enharinada y recortamos en rectángulos que dejaremos reposar otro cuarto de hora
  8. Calentamos una buena cantidad de aceite que cubra los beignets al freír. Ojo si el aceite está muy caliente se queman fácilmente pero si está muy bajo absorben mucho aceite y no quedan bien
  9. Se fríen ppr los dos lado y se escurre el sobrante de aceite con un papel absorbente
  10. Se dejan enfriar un poco antes de decorar
  11. Se les suele echar miel y azúcar glas como Tiana hace en la película pero también se puede rellenar de una buena mermelada, crema o chocolate
